Alice Le Schrynemeeckers is a Houston, Texas based photographer.

As a young child, my interest in photography was fueled by my father’s passion for taking family photos to document memorable events. Growing up I would always use his Nikon D80 to take photos of adventures with my friends and family. For me, photography is a form of creative self-expression and a way to capture beautiful memories forever.

My favorite genre of photography is portraits, with a focus on fashion and lifestyle. As a child, I was very shy and unable to express myself well verbally. I always had a big imagination and interest for surreal and enchanted imagery, having grown up on Disney and Studio Ghibli movies. Dressing up in avant-garde outfits and taking fashionable selfies was a creative outlet that gave me confidence. Through the medium of photography and fashion, I was able to give myself a voice.

In my free time, I enjoy painting in my art studio, going on creative photoshoots, watching Kdramas, art journaling, reading, and eating out (big foodie here!).

When I work with clients, I try to encourage them to dress up and have fun with fashion. I like to help style clients and pick outfits that will complement the location where we’re shooting and tell a great story.

I consider myself incredibly lucky to be doing what I do, and I try to share my passion for photography with everyone that I work with. If you would like to consider collaborating together, I would love to speak with you.

I currently reside in Houston, Texas with my husband, Paul.
